How much space do I need?
For a full swing, Trackman recommends a room about 15 feet wide, 18 feet deep and 10 feet high. TruGolf lists a 9-foot ceiling as the minimum (10 feet recommended) and at least 12 feet of width, or 14 to 16 feet if left- and right-handed players share the bay. Smaller rooms can often work with the right system and screen. We measure at the walkthrough and tell you straight.
What does a simulator room cost?
It depends on the system, the screen and enclosure, room prep and electrical, sound, and cabinetry. After the walkthrough you get one itemized proposal for the whole room, so there are no surprise add-ons later.
How long does a build take?
It depends on the scope. A finished room moves fastest; new electrical, cabinetry and finishes add time. Your proposal includes a schedule, and we coordinate our crews so trades are not waiting on each other.
Can you build in a basement, garage or outbuilding?
Yes. Basements, bonus rooms, garages, golf sheds and new builds all work. Garages and outbuildings usually need heating, cooling and insulation planned in so the room and the electronics stay comfortable year round. We cover that at the walkthrough.
Can we use it for more than golf?
Yes. TruGolf Multi-Sport adds games for the whole family, and with a projector and cinema-grade surround sound the same room becomes a theater for movies and game day.
Do you handle the electrical and permits?
Yes. CG is part of Rocky Mountain Audio Video & Electric, so dedicated circuits, low-voltage wiring, control and permits are handled in-house as part of the same plan.
Trackman or TruGolf: which is right for me?
We install both, so we recommend based on your room, your budget and how you like to play. The easiest way to decide is to book a demo, hit balls on our TruGolf bay, and talk through Trackman with us.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Through our partner Acorn Finance you can compare offers from multiple lenders in minutes, and checking your rates won't affect your credit score. Check your rates.
Where do you work?
Across the Salt Lake Valley, Park City and the rest of Utah. Our showroom is in South Jordan and open by appointment.
What happens after install?
We calibrate the launch monitor, tune the picture and sound, and walk your family through the controls. After that we stay on call for questions, updates and service.
